Here at Midwest Labradoodle we use Jerry Hope’s “The Breeder’s Guide to Raising Superstar Dogs” Program! The book/program explains the “Superstar Program” that Jerry created. The program was developed to prepare puppies to be better members of our society. Through early socialization and imprinting techniques, the Superstar program gives puppies a head start on life and drastically decreases the chances of behavioral problems, thereby proportionally decreasing the chances of the puppy needing to be re-homed or even worse, euthanized. So here at Midwest Labradoodle we invest many, many hours into your new puppy with our socialization program! Just check out the pictures below! We visited a kindergarten classroom, the groomer and the vet alreay! We have also had many visitors at our magic and costume shop here at Kenosha Magic (the perfect place to socialize!) and those pics will be coming soon! Stay tuned….
Photos below are from our first classroom, vet & groomer visits in Jan 2011:
We took all the puppies into grade schools, the groomer and to the vet for a wellness check when they were 6 weeks old. They all had a wonderful report! The vet and the tech could not stop raving about how well behaved they were and what wonderful dispositions ALL the puppies had! They all got a thumbs up! We have been running a vigorous socialization program using Jerry Hopes “Raising Super Star Dogs” so this visit was very smooth for all of them! It was just “another visit” to them!! Our socialization program makes for a much better well rounded dog all together in all situations!!
